I worked as a waitress for twenty-five years. Then, in 2005, I sold my first novel to Dutton. THE LIAR'S DIARY as published in March, 2007. Rights have been sold in Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Currently, I'm hard at work on a new novel, a book of short stories and a collection of poems.
I'm not bragging. . .Well, yes I am. I believe I have the most eclectic Group--outofourshells--and People connections than any grouping on Gather.
It has been my pleasure to find and invite new people to mingle with those who have been with me for a while. It is my wish for you to use these groupings to your advantage. If you have a group of your own, please think of outofourshells as a second home. If you belong to other groups, please think of outofourshells when you publish. Anyone is welcome to join as long as they agree with the Group's description--which is mainly to show respect and to remember arguing is not the same as fighting. It is more akin to debating.
I have tried to attract as diverse a population as possible. I want our group and connections to to educate--as well as--learn from each other.
